My name is John Haynes, founder and builder. I grew up in a small Texas Panhandle town where I learned the value of hard work, faith, and family. Working beside my grandad on our family ranch taught me not just craftsmanship, but commitment, the kind that’s stayed with me every day since.

That foundation shapes how I approach building homes: with exacting standards, a hands-on mindset, and genuine care for the families we serve. But even more central to my life than work is my relationship with Jesus Christ. It’s His grace that continues to guide how I live, lead, and serve. I’m far from perfect, but I strive to operate every day with integrity, humility, and a spirit of excellence.

Before founding Haynes Homes, I spent years working with respected builders like Coventry and Highland Homes, honing my skills and learning the ins and outs of the industry. But starting this company allowed me to create something more personal, a place where craftsmanship meets conviction, and where clients aren’t just handed a set of keys but welcomed into a home built with heart.

I’m a husband, a father to three beautiful daughters, and someone who believes that a home is far more than just walls and a roof. It’s where life happens. Where families gather, grow, rest, and celebrate what matters most.

  • The timeline can vary based on home complexity, permitting, and site conditions, but most Haynes Homes take approximately 5 to 8 months to complete once construction begins. We’ll walk you through a detailed schedule during the planning phase.

  • Yes. If you already have architectural plans, we’re happy to review and build from them or refine them to better fit your lot or lifestyle. We can also design from scratch if you’re starting with a blank slate.

  • Our process is designed to be collaborative, clear, and client-focused. It typically includes:
